I have a dore westbury miller and a cowel rack tail stock atachment all of which have a 5/16 drawbar hole. one way round the problem is to make some adapters 3/8 bsw male taped 5/16 bsf (my draw bar is bsf) The adaptor can protude from the male morse taper about half an inch, the same distance as a morse taper tang without fouling.
